This fly is particularly effective during the winter months when midges are one of the only insects available.

Presentation

Fish this fly as part of a multi-fly setup, or alone on a traditional nymphing rig.

When to Use

Use the Turbo Midge when fish are feeding subsurface and not actively rising for dry flies.

Water Type

This fly can be used in both stillwater and moving water conditions.

Rigging Suggestions

This fly can be rigged with a small gold bead for additional depth.

Visibility & Floatation

The Turbo Midge is a sinking fly designed to be fished subsurface. The fine copper wire body provides a natural iridescence that can attract fish in various lighting conditions.
