Thread: Sparton 6/0, black
Hackle: Starling
Abdomen: Ultra-wire, fine, black, single layer
Rib: Ultra-wire, fine, black
Thorax: Heron, dyed black (or substitute)

Most effective during spring, summer, and fall when mayflies, caddis are active.

Dead drift on the surface with occasional subtle twitches.
