Fishing Tips

Season

Spring, Summer

Presentation

Dead drift near the bottom, under a strike indicator or as part of a Euro nymphing setup.

When to Use

When stoneflies are present or active, usually in warmer months. Can also be used as a general attractor nymph.

Water Type

Effective in both stillwaters and moving waters.

Rigging Suggestions

Can be fished alone, but often used in a tandem nymph rig with a smaller pattern trailing.

Visibility & Floatation

The fly sinks well due to its design and materials. The glossy shellback can catch light and draw attention.
