Hook : Daiichi 1560 # 10 - 12
Thread : Danville 6/0 Black
Tail : Pheasant Tail
Rib : Krystal Flash Black
Abdomen : Isonychia Dubbing Gray, Purple & Brown mix
Back Stripe : Floss White
Wing Case : Dark Turkey
Thorax : Isonychia Dubbing Gray, Purple & Brown mix
Legs : Hen Hackle

Fly Tier: Jim Lafley


Tying Instruction :

1) Tie on thread near bend of hook.
2) Tie on pheasant tail fibers for tail.
3) Tie on monofilament for rib.
4) Tie in 3-4 stands of white thread to be used as back stripe.
5) Dub a thin abdomen of mixed dubbing.
6) Tie on wing case of dark turkey in front of the abdomen.
7) Pull white thread forward as stripe and rib with monofilament to base of wing case.
8) Dub a thorax of mixed dubbing.
9) Tie on legs of brown hen hackle.
10) Pull wing case forward and tie down.
11) Pull white thread forward over wing case and tie off.
12) Whip finish head.
