Tying Instruction : 1) Cut a thin strip of stick back lead and wrap a slightly tapered underbody. 2) Tie on thread near hook eye and wrap over lead to bend of hook. 3) Tie on mono for rib. 4) Tie on Flex Body for shellback. 5) Dub a tapered body 2/3 of the way back to the hook eye with Hares Ear / Antron / SLF mix. 6) Dub orange hot spot. 7) Dub thorax with dark fur. 8) Pull shellback over body and tie off. 9) Rib body and shellback with mono. 10) Tie a neat head and color with black Panatone marker. 11) Color first segment of shellback with marker. 12) Pick out thorax as legs. |
