Thread : Uni-Thread 8/0 Black
Under-Body : Lead Wire .010 And
Body : Rabbit Dubbing Gray And Ostrich Herl Tan

Fly Tier: Jason M. Franz


Tying Instruction :

1) Tie on thread near hook eye and wrap back to the bend of the hook.
2) Tie on two pieces of lead wire one on each side of the hook to make a flat body.
3) Tie on Ostrich plum at hook bend.
4) Dub a smooth body back to hook eye.
5) Palmer Ostrich plum along body to hook eye and tie off.
6) Whip finish head.
7) Trim the top of the fly flat with scissors and mark top lightly with black permanent marker



Note :

This fly was stuck on the end of a sewing needle with tacky wax to give you a perspective of its size… Very, very small!
