Tying Instruction : 1) Tie on thread near hook eye and wrap back to the bend of the hook. 2) Tie on striped Peacock herl. 3) Wrap a smooth body back to hook eye. 4) Wrap striped Peacock body back to hook eye. 5) Tie on light dunn Snowshoe gills. 6) Tie on Peacock herl and wrap a small thorax. 7) Whip finish head underneath gills. 8) Coat striped Peacock body with head varnish using a needle. Note : This fly was stuck on the end of a sewing needle with tacky wax to give you a perspective of its size… Very, very small! |
