Tying Instruction : 1) Tie on thread at hook eye. 2) Wrap thread to hook bend and tie on tail. 3) Make a slightly tapered body with thread, ending with thread at base of tail. 4) Color thread with black marker and rib body with black thread. 5) Tie on Wood duck for wing case. 6) Dub bulbous thorax. 7) Pull wing case over thorax and tie off. Tips of wing case fibers maybe used as legs. 8) Whip finish head. |
