Tying Instruction : 1) Tie on thread near bend of hook. 2) Tie on woodduck tail. 3) Wrap thread 1/3 of the way around the hook bend and dub a stubby section of yellow dubbing back to the where the hook bend starts. 4) Split a piece of Antron yarn in half. Take one half and singe one end. 5) Tie the Antron on to the hook so it forms a trailing shuck around the dubbed back section. 6) Take 4-6 CDC feathers and tie them on by their tips at the hook bend. 7) Dub a body with a slight taper. 8) Pull the CDC feathers over the body and tie down with 2 wraps of thread. 9) Use a bodkin (needle) to form a loop in the CDC. Stick bodkin under the CDC and pull up. 10) Tie a neat head and whip finish. |
