Hook : Daiichi 1180 # 12 - 16
Thread : Uni-Thread 8/0 Cream
Tail : Dryfly Hackle Fibers Cream
Body : Dryfly Dubbing Sulphur Orange
Wing : Wood Duck
Hackle : Dryfly Hackle Cream

Fly Tier: Jim Lafley


Tying Instruction :

1) Tie on thread near hook bend.
2) Tie on a tail of hackle fibers. The tail should be approximately the length of the hook shank.
3) Dub a slightly tapered body of sulfur dubbing.
4) Tie on a hackle stem first and wrap 4-8 turns of hackle.
5) Whip finish a neat head.




Note :


A. K. Best once told Jim he should never tie a dry fly without wings. Jim say's "If they work without wings, why not?"
A fast, simple and effective Sulfur pattern.
