Note :

This fly floats like a cork and can be fished all day with just a squeeze or two, to get rid of the excess water. Don't ask why it works, just fish it along the bank, under the willows this summer and wait for an explosive strike.

I was born in the Pacific Northwest into a large, close-knit family of wiseasses. My Uncle David (who bears a remarkable semblance to my friend Cooper, the purveyor of this site) started me fishing at five or six, and I became a fly tyer after seeing an Orvis catalog at the neighbors around the

age of nine. I spent more time fishing than studying in college, and have paid for it ever since by pursuing a career in art.
