Thread : Uni-Thread 8/0 Olive

Body : Vernille Olive

Wing : Coastal Deer Hair Natural

Hackle : Dryfly Hackle Dun

Fly Tier: Jude SanGregory

Tying Instruction :

1) Tie on a small length of Vernille at middle of hook.
2) Burn end of Vernille with match to round off the end (optional).
3) Tie on deer hair wing.
4) Tie on hackle and make several wraps.
5) Tie off hackle, wrap a neat head and whip finish.

Note :

This fly floats a little higher than the no hackle version. It is very usable after catching fish. A quick rinse and a few false casts and it is dry enough to use again.
